Phenology - What's That?

The study of cyclic and seasonal natural phenomena, especially in relation to climate and plant and animal life. Pronounced: fin-ol-o-gy

The three main non-biological factors that affect phenology are:

• Sunlight

• Temperature

• Precipitation (rainfall, snowfall, etc.)

These three factors work together to determine the timing of natural events.
